Phase Two

After the first phase in which each partner of the project worked in his national contest to analyse and describe his own market about the domotics and the actors actually involved ( company, Training Centers, University). In November 2003 a transnational meeting in Rodez in France has been organized with all the partners of the projects to share some results in order to point out:

• differences about the market of domotics in different countries
• differences and common factors as regard the training
• common factors about the actual skills of professional figures

Through this sharing of experiences all the partners together understand that what the market seems to request is to develop skills of the three professional figures but in particular to develop and train a new professional figures “ Expert of domotics”.

For this reason after this meeting the partners decided, to answer to the request of the market, to define the repertory of skills of this professional figure: “Expert in domotics”

He will be a consultant very similar to a project manager who will works with the helping of electricians, programmers and equipment installers.
He will manage all these professional figures in order to answer to the customer request.

In the next month we will define the skills of this new figures working together with all the partner in order to share our different experiences.

New skills will be related with 4 different areas:

• Organization area
• Technological area
• Legal area
• Communication area

These areas have been identified as strategically macro factors of evolution:

After developing of this part of the project all the partners will be involved in the validation process of this professional figures in each country in order to define training.
