ASMAP is a tool witch deal with changes in companies are likely
to encounter such as changing a top manager, outsourcing a department,
introducing a quality assurance system or other system, recruiting
a lot of people at once, etc.
All these changes are a normal part of a company’s development,
if the management is unprepared to face them, they have the
potential to turn into crisis. If however, managers are equipped
with knowledge and an appropriate approach, these changes can
have a positive result.
The experience acquired during the development of the Asmap
project was very important in both the conception and fulfillment
of the Pre-emergencies project. That's not only due to the similarity
of the jobfields (to prepare a complex system to a changement),
but also to the acquired competence in conceiving the simulation
system and how to achieve the expected results.
